Application form for registration to other Academic Library of Cyprus

Members of the Libraries of the Cyprus University of Technology, the University of Cyprus, the Open University of Cyprus and the University of Nicosia can visit the respective libraries and borrow or use their services.
Initially, each member must complete the Application for registration of membership in another Academic Library of Cyprus in the Library of his University, which will send the data to the Library that the user is interested in using.
All members must always present the student ID / member ID card of his university when visiting the respective libraries

Terms of Registration

All members of the Cyprus University of Technology may obtain the right to borrow books from another academic Library of Cyprus according to the following regulations:

1.	The above mentioned data in this application must be completed. 
2.	Submission of inaccurate data constitutes serious breach of the regulations and as a consequence the person’s name will be removed from the list of Library members.
3.	In the event of any change in the data which was filled in on the application form, the user is obliged to inform the library immediately.
4.	Once the application is approved, the member’s card must be always presented when borrowing a book and using the library’s facilities. To enter the University of Cyprus Library is necessary to issue a membership card with a cost of €12 and an issuance time of approximately five days. 
5.	The category and maximum number of items borrowed by the user is determined by the regulations of each library.
6.	The user can renew the material only once (1).
7.	The user cannot recall any material.
8.	A fine of € 0.40 per day will be imposed if books are overdue. After the due date of return which is mentioned in the first reminder, the fine is increased to € 0.85 per day.
9.	The user must return the borrowed books within three (3) days in case it is requested by the Library. A fine of € 1.70 per day will be imposed if books are overdue.
10.	If books are returned damaged, the user will be charged the expenses for replacement or repair.
