Policy for Academic Publications Deposit
Following the decision of the Interim Governing Board (21st session) in 20-21 April 2007, the Cyprus University of Technology requires from the faculty members to deposit their publications in the institutional repository Ktisis, and additionally to submit a copy of their publications or books to the Library.
The library checks the status of the copyright of each publication. In cases where the open access policy conflicts with the intellectual property rights of third parties (issuers), the Library makes available only the bibliographic data and the electronic address of the document. This applies for the period during which these restrictive conditions apply.
Policy for Theses Deposit
Following the decision of the Interim Governing Board (35th session) in December 2008, the Cyprus University of Technology requires from the students to deposit their undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD theses in the institutional repository Ktisis.
The full text of each thesis is submitted by the student to the Secretary of the Department. The Secretary of the Department sends the full text of the thesis to the Library with the relevant indication for publication or not in order to ensure the quality of the content.
